The Fondation de Luxembourg assists European donors in the structuring, development and monitoring of philanthropic projects in Europe and worldwide.
Based on the methodology of Prof. Rami Katz, the aim of the project is to maximize the educational experience of children from lower socio-economic backgrounds in Israel by developing learning and behavioral skills during the early years of the child's development.
Unsustainable farming and deforestation in Senegal is resulting in desertification causing increased poverty and environmental problems. In order to slow down this process, the project aims to promote sustainable farming methods and reforestation through the planting of trees and installation of clay ovens.
Every year, one or two postgraduate doctoral students in neurological surgery, from all over the world receive a scholarship which allows them to engage in research at the clinic of neurological surgery of the Helsinki University Central Hospital.
Because of recent famines in the Sahel region, many nomads settled down around Agadez, hoping to find enough food to survive. The project aims to improve the living conditions of these families by building schools abs by supporting women to improve their craft production.
