Family strengthening in the city of Tahoua, Niger

Fondation Olivier - CLOSED

The objective of this project is to provide help to children in need

On the Human Development Index, created by the United Nations Development Program, UNDP, Niger is at the bottom. Women and children are the first to be affected by poverty and precariousness. About 38 % of children suffer from severe and acute malnutrition and the country has 970,000 orphans out of a population of 19 million.

Adapted to the region and local reality, the objective of the project is to help children who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care by ensuring their basic needs such as health, nutrition and education.
