Completed Project

Providing digital tools and training for low-income households in Luxembourg

The goal of the project is to provide access to digital tools and promote digital literacy for low-income households and refugees in Luxembourg.

Digital Inclusion, a Luxembourg-based ASBL, has been helping to make information technology accessible to everyone since 2016. By providing access to digital tools and promoting digital literacy through its programming, it promotes social inclusion and helps reduce inequalities for vulnerable populations across the Grand Duchy.

Through support to its overall development, Digital Inclusion can continue to deliver on its three main pillars:

  • Making information technology accessible to everybody
  • Promoting social inclusion through digital technology
  • Taking action for the environment

Local low-income households and refugees will be able to benefit from the gift of free computers, which are donated to the association and refurbished. Moreover, they can also participate in Digital Inclusion's language lab programme to improve their basic digital skills, which is available free of charge in 10 languages. Together, these activities can help reduce inequalities and make vulnerable people more autonomous as citizens.
