2023 Prix Alice Wolzfeld and Jos Wolzfeld

Fondation CANDIDA

The Prix Alice Wolzfeld et Jos Wolzfeld is awarded annually to exceptional students from the Lycée Classique d'Echternach.

 

Students with both the highest notes on their final exams and the best grades in Latin, French and History are recognized by Fondation CANDIDA through the Prix Alice Wolzfeld et Jos Wolzfeld, a scholarship prize created in honor of two professors, Alice Wolzfeld and Jos Wolzfeld.

 

The Fondation CANDIDA, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg, congratulates the 2023 laureates: Fabio Da Silva Afonso, for Latin, Arthur Denter, for French, and Hannah Werdel, for History.

A ceremony to present the scholarship certificates took place on September 29, 2023 in the premises of the Fondation de Luxembourg, in the presence of the winners and their families, Mrs. Monique Adams, member of the Fondation CANDIDA, Mr. Robert Droulans, Deputy Director of the Lycée classique d'Echternach and Mrs. Tonika Hirdman, Director General of the Luxembourg Foundation. Mrs. Hirdman congratulated the winners who, she underlined, “have demonstrated great motivation, talent and ambition in their respective subjects of study.”
